Joining Towcester Archers
We welcome new members of all ages and abilities.
If you are new to archery, you will need to have completed an Archery GB registered beginners course before joining the club to shoot. Details of our beginners courses, including any confirmed dates, can be found here:

Once you are ready to join, there are a few different membership options available.
Full Membership
Full membership is annual from the date you join the club.
Archery GB, county and regional affiliation fees are paid separately through Archery GB’s Sport80 system, while your Towcester Archers membership fee is paid directly to the club.
Associate Membership
We also offer associate membership for archers who are already affiliated to Archery GB through another club.
Associate membership is available either:
- Annually
- For the indoor season only, from 1 October to 31 March
Our 6-month indoor associate membership fees are:
- Adults: £65
- Juniors (under 18): £45
This can be a good option for archers who mainly want to shoot with us during the indoor season. PLEASE NOTE: Places could be limited depending on demand.
Guest Archers
If you are already an Archery GB member and only want to shoot with us occasionally, you may prefer to attend as a guest rather than take out associate membership.
Guest archers must request a place in advance, and attendance is subject to target space being available.

New Members
If you have completed a beginners’ course elsewhere, or are already an experienced archer looking to join Towcester Archers, we may ask you to attend a session so that we can briefly assess your safety before joining.
